About DecotachDecotach Expands Bellydancer Costuming Choices Decotach manufactures a full line of oriental dancer wear including Bra's and Belts, Skirts and Accessories. All items can be purchased individually, or combined to achieve a desired look. A dancer can best take advantage of the Decotach approach to costuming by using the fringe and decoration attachments as well as mixing and matching the bras & belts, skirts and accessories. This has the effect of expanding the dancers costuming choices without the need to buy a completely new costume. Hence, Decotach puts more costumes in your closet for less money.

of Quality ANGELA LAMBRU As they say necessity is the mother of invention! Angela Lambru known as Noora in the oriental dance world, a dancer whose dissatisfaction with the cost and styles of costumes led her to invent a truly original idea. Of Costa Rican and Greek decent and born in Costa Rica, Angela has always had a passion for the arts. After majoring in Theater she went on to experience the arts in bilingual theater, film, voice-over and dance. Angela is also an advocate of animal rights. She pursued her training in Oriental dance with such notable teachers as Ibrahim Farrah and Serena Wilson and Modern dance at the Martha Graham School. As a dancer she was fortunate to have experienced the fascinating worlds of night clubs, diverse cultures, and incredible destinations around the globe from the Ivory Coast to Tokyo. Noora-Aphrodite as she is known has embraced the world of Oriental Dance with a passion and authenticity that translated into her art. That lingering impression that still flows in her mind and body has been re-interpreted in the form of Decotach.

Founded in 2005, Decotach is owned and
operated by Angela Lambru of Astoria, NY. The mission
and purpose of Decotach is to provide belly dancers with
quality alternatives to the high cost of costuming
using a patented system that allows dancers to
expand their costumes by adding interchangeable
pieces. These attachable /interchangeable decorations
and fringe known as attachments, are an exclusive
patented Decotach costuming innovation. Another
unique aspect of the Decotach system is in how it is
constructed making it light-weight and allowing for
certain parts to be removed for washing. The result is
an innovative, versatile and light weight costume that
puts more costume in your closet for less money. The
name Decotach is derived from two words Decoration
and Attachment. |
